The World Tourism Network is continually working to improve SME’s in the travel and tourism industry. We are now offering the opportunity to be part of our roundtable discussions. These free-flowing discussions permit tourism and lodging professionals to have a frank and open discussions regarding the tourism industry and YOUR role in the industry.
How it works?
- Each roundtable group can accept no more than 25 participants. The roundtable’s duration is 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon.
- Each participant is allowed one question in the morning and a follow-up question in the afternoon session.
- Some of the potential topics are, but participants may ask any other question that they desire. The roundtable facilitators will first give their opinions, followed by public input.
Potential topics:
- How can tourism security be turned into a money-making proposition?
- Training Your Police: Tourism Oriented Policing (TOPPs), how it works, and why it is essential for a viable tourism industry.
- Communicating with relevant legislators and authorities.
- Communicating and reaching international media.
